I'm back in Norway, and it's the last day of summer vacation.
I feel ready to start school, to focus on my education and to meet all of my friends from school again.
So i'm actually pretty excited..
but at the same time i'm really scared, cause high school is almost over and i have to start thinking what i really want to do with my life..
My year in California has been great and i've been able to travel to so
many amazing places, and I just love California.
I can't really say what my favorite thing about this year has been,
because I feel like the whole year combined is what made this year a good
year..
My Year in California has changed me so much, and i don't know how to thank all of the people that made this year possible for me enough.. i wouldn't change this AMAZING exchange year for anything in the world..
It's been good for me to come back to my normal life in Norway, and to see my friends and family again but at the same time i had to say bye to so many close friends and to so many family members in the united states..
I wish my brain just could stop thinking about you all for 1 day, because it hurts so much to have that feeling that i'm never in my life gonna meet some of you again..
Most people at home don't understand that my year as a foreign exchange student wasn't just one year of my life.. It was one life in a year.. it's really hard to explain to people but i know that all of my exchange friends knows what i'm talking about..
I don't know what i'm gonna do with life yet but i know that i'm gonna use all the experiences from this year for something good.
I hope more people take the chance, and try to study abroad.. because you will not only understand other cultures better, but you will also understand and learn a lot more about your own country.
I miss all of my friends and i'm gonna try to visit as many of u as i possibly can, and i hope all of you will come to Norway to visit me too someday.
Thank you Rotary
and thank you to all the people that made my exchange awesome.
i miss you ..
This was so sweet. (: I hope that you can figure out something to combine the two worlds. I am in Germany on exchange right now, from Florida. And I understand what you are going through. <3 I hope you have a good first day of school. :D always remember the good times, and the people who helped make it good. I know its hard, but it is good to remember. :D
